Drawn by my friend Steve, who is one of the smartest people I know, and (as you can see here) a pretty amazing artist to boot. Nice change from my stick figures, eh?
I think conventionally it's L'Hopital, but I've seen a fair number of textbooks and other references that still spell it L'Hospital. Silent S's, go figure. The 8 should have trusted his (her?) feelings... also, it's the return of doctor psi! No idea how he survived the helicat a few weeks back.
Even mathematician chicks have their limits. Physical rings, preferably made from valuable metals, are always a surer bet.
Yes, I realize that the chalkboard changes dramatically between frames 1 and 2. And most of that stuff is admittedly gibberish, but it looks nice?
Also, apologies for not having updated in quite a while - finals were insane. Rest assured, there's someone who'll eventually condition me through threats to update more consistently...

Why helicoids and catenoids should not sleep with each other. Based in part on a fairly nasty homework set in differential geometry. Also, in the last frame the t-parameter is in the domain (Pi/2 , Pi) (open set, not closed) if you happen to care.
The latter two forms of logic are not appropriate for a thesis defense, and any lawsuits or arrests or denied degrees will not be the responsibility of this author.
